The focus of my work is to support clients to become aware of the fundamental role of their Autonomic Nervous System – the universal process that animates all living life forms and underpins our internal sense of self (feelings, sensations, thoughts) and our external perspective (peception and judgments) about the people, places and situations we encounter as we ‘journey’ through our life. Most of the time we seem to do ‘just fine’ but can occasionally experience ourselves as ‘out of sorts’ with our internal experiences of self and/or our experiences of our outer worlds. If this occurs we often find that “knowledge, information and insight of themselves change nothing” (ref: Stanley Keleman). We need to learn how to become aware of how our Autonomic Nervous System organises our internal and external experience and, if its not working for us, to influence, regulate and differentiate its functioning so that it returns us to a felt sense of safety, wellbeing and, as a consequence, an improved capacity to respond appropriately to the situations and circumstances we encounter as we live our lives.

I use a variety of practical, experiential exercises to enable  a  clients Autonomic Nervous Systems to recover its Functional Balance and Equilibrium which results in the client experiencing an improved internal sense of wellbeing and personal satisfaction as well as an increased capacity to respond appropriately to the external challenges we face as we ‘navigate’ through the situations and circumstances we continually encounter as we live our lives.
